"Empowering the Next Generation: GUSDA Launches YSEI with Hands United for Humanity"

The Guyana UK Social Development Association (GUSDA), in partnership with Hands United for Humanity (HUFH) in Guyana, has embarked on the Youth Skills Empowerment Initiative (YSEI) — a 12-month community-based workforce development programme funded by GUSDA to support 40 underserved youths across Agricola, Buxton, Diamond/Grove, Plaisance, Parfaite Harmonie, Sophia, and surrounding communities.

The youths will be provided with vocational training, academic upgrading, mentorship, counselling, employability coaching and pathways into employment or entrepreneurship.

The YSEI will be officially launched in Georgetown, Guyana on Friday, 28th August 2026. GUSDA extends its thanks to its supporters, sponsors, donors and members for making this investment in the future of our youth possible.
